Big, Big Really Big  yet somewhat old news.
SJ Pottery LLC  is moving. Construction on a new studio and  for the very first time a gallery is still underway. Schedule and hours for the gallery will be announced later in the summer. In the meantime look for an open flag.   We are partially moved in but are living and working in Salesville Arkansas.
Stay tuned. You can follow our progress on facebook:  SJ Pottery llc   Our contact information has changed on this web site.

SJ Pottery LLC is a limited production studio producing traditionally inspired redware, mocha, salt glazed pottery and whatever else catches our fancy.

With every piece we strive to combine aesthetics, craftsmanship and function.

We do not run from the words craft or craftsmanship. But strive to earn these well established historical ideals while creating a functional  form of art.
Functional art to be used in and to enrich your daily rituals and life.

Interpreting what has been done allows us to add our link to the existing chain of traditional pottery. In retelling the traditional story we offer a ware that feels familiar while offering ourselves a personal voice with the creative process.

Our hope is that our ware not only melds with but adds an interesting fresh addition to your collections.

Joe and I are honored that you would add our pots to your home.

SJ Pottery LLC sells at both retail and trade shows as well as many retail outlets throughout the United States.

We will also entertain commission pieces on an individual basis. We love to work on Commemorative pieces, individualized one of a kin
d and quantities both large and small.
Please contact us to discuss your ideas.

For 2015 we are returning to many beloved shows and plan on attending some new venues. Check out  Going to Market
