Joe and I have had several salt kilns in our 34 years together. Our salt kiln is in current need of being rebuilt. We anticipate doing that next year in 2023. Our available inventory is very limited.
The salt glaze is probably our most limited production with the loading and firing cycle taking 5 days.
The pieces on this page are examples of the type of thing we like to do.

We love historic English and Germ stonewares.
Here are a few examples of Bellermine or Bartman bottles. The sprigs are carved by us.
We both enjoy the scratchware technique. Carving the design, then applying coblat slip. When we sand away the slip it leaves an inlaid line. Both German and English potters utilized this technique.
